Stuffing
Applying SCOTNET Elastic Meat Netting to meat has two stages: loading the netting onto a tube,
then stuffing (pushing) the meat through the tube and into the netting. SCOTNET manufacture a

highest output speeds and the maximum reduction in labour, all while optimising the yield of the
netted joint.

Pressing
Our pressing systems ensure uniform shape and firmness across every joint, enhancing product

Tying
Tied or strung joints give the meat product a traditional look, replicating a butcher's hand-tied

Collagen
Large format collagen is now available in tubular reels or flat sheets. It provides an edible
covering between the elastic netting and the meat, reducing stripping loss and enabling stuffing of
emulsified products into elastic netting for a higher value appearance. SCOTNET manufacture a
range of equipment to stuff multi-muscle products in chamber machines or complete emulsions
through vacuum fillers.
