Stuffing
Applying SCOTNET Elastic Meat Netting to meat has two stages: loading the netting onto a tube, then stuffing (pushing) the meat through the tube and into the netting. SCOTNET manufacture a complete range of solutions for this, from manual right up to fully automatic systems, with the highest output speeds and the maximum reduction in labour, all while optimising the yield of the netted joint.

Pressing
Our pressing systems ensure uniform shape and firmness across every joint, enhancing product appearance and slicing performance. Built for durability and fast cleaning, Scotnet's presses help elevate presentation while saving time and labour on the production floor.

Tying
Tied or strung joints give the meat product a traditional look, replicating a butcher's hand-tied joint. SCOTNET manufacture the fastest and most efficient string tying machine ever made. Reducing labour, reducing hygiene times, reducing maintenance costs, all while improving product presentation - driving sales.

Collagen
Large format collagen is now available in tubular reels or flat sheets. It provides an edible covering between the elastic netting and the meat, reducing stripping loss and enabling stuffing of emulsified products into elastic netting for a higher value appearance. SCOTNET manufacture a range of equipment to stuff multi-muscle products in chamber machines or complete emulsions through vacuum fillers.
